Not Twilight for "Twilight"
It looks like we're nowhere near the twilight of Twilight's popularity. The film, adapted from the popular teen series, is already a mega-hit around the world . . . and it hasn't even been released in theaters yet. And more good news for fans of Twilight: There will be more film versions.
Summit Entertainment, the hitherto unknown small studio which is now gaining a real name for itself on the coattails of Twilight success, now has plans to milk the series for all it's worth. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Summit Entertainment is trying to ink out production deals for the next three parts of Stephenie Meyer's wildly popular series. If Twilight does well, the studio is banking on even higher revenues from the sequels, which could make for a "Bella" day for Summit.
