Sawyer Interviewing N.Y.'s Most Famous Hooker

Diane Sawyer must be so proud.

In what one can only assume was a bright and shining day for Diane Sawyer, news came that the television staple will be airing an interview with Ashley Alexandra Dupre, better known as the hooker who brought down a sitting governor.

Dupre, the young twenty-something who gained national attention after it was divulged that she was former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer's mistress, has been gaining attention ever since. According to hush-hush reports quietly swirling around, Dupre was paid quite a handsome price for her role in the Sawyer interview, to air this Friday on ABC, during 20/20 at 10 p.m. There is no word yet on what kinds of questions Sawyer asked the former (we assume former, but there is no hard evidence that Dupre ever stopped being a call girl) hooker, though Sawyer is not known as a bastion of independent and hard-hitting thought, as of late.

Plans are still on track for Dupre to release a CD in the near future. You can count on the sales being phenomenal, as many will surely want to buy it, if just for the novelty of being able to say they heard the voice of the call girl who ended a government administration.
