Ben Stiller Parties and Celebrates His Career
Recently, many stars gathered to celebrate Ben Stiller's film career at New York's Museum of the Moving Image gala. The event occurred on Thursday night and was celebrated with Sean Combs, Robert De Niro, Adam Sandler, Jack Black and Mike Myers, who each gave their own tributes to Stiller.
"I put Ben in my video for 'Bad Boy for Life.' I thought he'd return the favor. But I guess I wasn't black enough to be in 'Tropic Thunder.' Robert Downey Jr. was a little blacker. But that's fine," Combs said, poking fun at Stiller for not offering him a role in his most recent film, Tropic Thunder.
"Ben is really good-looking and, because of my arrogance, I assumed he wasn't funny," Myers added, according to Digital Spy.
After taking the stage to accept his award, Stiller dedicated the award to Bono from U2, saying, "Just so I have something in common with him other than knowing all the words to 'Achtung, Baby.'"
Past recipients for this award included Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise.
