Kanye West Gets Physical

Gold Digger hit maker, Kanye West has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a photographer!

Reportedly, the incident occurred as he was leaving the Tup Tup club in Newcastle, England, when the paparazzi began to furiously snap photos of him. However, despite the charges that were filed, the hip-hop mogul claimed self-defense after the photographer, Terry Blackburn, stated that he had suffered a cut face and bruising after West allegedly pushed the camera into his face. "I didn't assault him, but merely putting my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, 'Get the camera off him.' I guess in all the commotion the camera scraped his nose," West said, according to Reuters. "I am protecting my personal space since there are no laws to protect that from me," West added on his personal blog.

After the incident though, once police arrived at his hotel in nearby Gateshead, he was detained on assault charges. However, he was released without charge after being quizzed by the police.
