Shields: “Lipstick Jungle” Isn’t Cancelled
17-Nov-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

She doesn’t appear to be in denial, either.

Brooke Shields doesn't think that her NBC drama has been cancelled, even though thousands of reports were written last week that said so (The Celebrity Cafe's being one of those).

"They thought that because My Own Worst Enemy has been shut down that the same thing had happened to us, and it's not true," she told reporters at Sunday's Cookie magazine Kidsfest in NYC.

"They're not breaking down the sets," she added. "We’re still working. We still have more to do, so it's erroneously presented that we’ve been canceled, thank God.

"Our bosses are saying, 'You’re not cancelled, don’t worry. We’re just trying to figure out how to make this make sense.'"

If you say so, Ms. Shields. We'll stick with our report, however.
