Michael Jackson Sick (of Court?)

Michael Jackson is sick - this statement, coming from his lawyer. Jackson, who is currently in the news for being the defendant in an international monetary battle, may not be showing up to court at all, if his lawyers get their way. Jackson's lawyer, Robert Englehart, stated to the AP, "It would be unwise for him to travel, given what he's got now."

The lawyer for the Bahrain prince who is suing Jackson for $7 million brushed off Jackson's claim of illness. The judge presiding over the case will decide on Thursday whether or not Jackson is well enough to appear in court.

Prince Al Khalifa is suing Michael Jackson for $7 million, which he now claims was payment for services and music Jackson was supposed to produce; Jackson's camp returns that the money was a no-strings-attached gift.
