Trey Parker Discusses How “South Park” May End
18-Nov-2008
Written by: E. Van Dril

Apparently it will be similar to “Sex and the City.”

Trey Parker has been discussing how to end South Park with the series' co-creator Matt Stone. The pair also co-executive produce the animated program, which is now the longest running show on Comedy Central.

What Stone and Parker have come up with is to possibly follow in the shoes of Sex and the City and make the series finale into a movie.

"We talked about maybe someday doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea," Parker told the Los Angeles Times. "That's been a big thought to do the last show as a movie."

Parker and Stone aren't going to wrap the show anytime soon, however. They will continue making episodes at least through 2011, when their producing contract runs out with Comedy Central.

Stay tuned for more.
