Cheetah Girls Dropped from Macy’s Day Parade

The Disney girl group was pulled from the Macy’s Day Parade last minute, sparking rumors that the action was due in part to Adrienne Bailon’s nude picture scandal.
Just a little more than a week before the Macy’s Day Parade will flood millions of televisions nationwide on Thanksgiving Day, Macy’s announced that Disney’s girl group, the Cheetah Girls, will not be performing at the event as scheduled, according to Fox News.
The last-minute cancellation sparked speculation that the decision was, in part, due to Adrienne Bailon’s recent nude picture scandal, where her laptop was allegedly stolen at a New York airport and nude pictures of the starlet were taken from her computer.
Macy’s denied any such rumors and said the Cheetah Girls could not perform due to scheduling conflicts.
"Performer confirmations are always fluid and subject to change for any live event," a Macy’s rep said through a statement. "In fact we just received confirmations of three new acts this week. The Cheetah Girls were scheduled to appear in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but due to scheduling issues they could not make it."
The Cheetah Girls, however, have a concert scheduled for the day before the parade in Pittsburgh and the day after the parade in Ohio and nothing publicly scheduled for Thanksgiving Day.
Bailon’s rep has not commented on the cancellation.
Miley Cyrus, who also has had risqué photos released on the Internet, is still scheduled to perform at the parade.
