Winona Ryder’s Wild Ride
19-Nov-2008
Written by: Susie Kopecky

Winona Ryder had a bad flight. . . .

Winona Ryder had a wild ride while en route to London, from her home in Los Angeles. While her British Airways flight was underway, the starlet became ill with an unknown cause.

According to a spokesman for the British flight company, Flight BA282 requested permission for a "priority landing" after a female passenger fell ill. The passenger, of course, is assumed to be Ryder.

Winona Ryder was shown the royal treatment while on her way to the land of royals, soon being admitted to a British hospital, and quickly released soon after. A spokesperson for the actress did confirm to Reuters that Ryder "did fall ill on a flight" but was only at a hospital for "maybe an hour," and the main point is "she is in good health" now.

Ryder is known for shooting to stardom in the late 1980s/early 1990s, during which she had such well-received supporting roles as Lydia in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice and as Edward's love interest in Edward Scissorhands, another Burton movie.
