Dirty Sexy Money and "Eli Stone" Likely Canceled
Reports suggest that the ABC shows, Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone, will not be renewed for new seasons.
While ABC has issued no comment, multiple sources told Entertainment Weekly.com that the two series had "effectively been canceled." In their most recent airings, both shows hit series lows.
The shows have also been underperforming in critical demographics. According to Variety.com, both received less than a 2.0 rating with adults 18-49.
Dirty Sexy Money follows a lawyer responsible for the rich and demanding Darling family, while Eli Stone focuses on another lawyer experiencing fantastic hallucinations that ultimately make him a better person. Both series are expected to finish their 13-episode orders for the current season.
The shows would join another recently axed ABC show: Pushing Daisies. Series creator Bryan Fuller confirmed the show's cancellation - a widely speculated matter for months now - to Entertainment Weekly.com, saying that he was "so very proud" of the show and "grateful for everyone's hard work."
