Paltrow apologizes after wearing fur during a photoshoot

Gwyneth Paltrow has been forgiven by PETA after wearing fox fur in Italian designer Tod’s ad last week, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. The “Iron Man” actress offered a public apology after PETA released the statement; “Gwyneth Paltrow won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she continues to flaunt fur.” However, now it appears everything is forgiven. PETA’s senior vice president, Dan Mathews, revealed in US Magazine that he met Paltrow over in the weekend in Miami, and that the 36-year-old actress confessed she did not know the fur was real. According to Matthews, Paltrow claimed it was a daylong photo shoot and she wore many different outfits.

“During one set-up, a stylist came up from behind and draped a stole around my shoulder. I didn’t pay much attention to it, and when I noticed it was fur, I assumed it was fake fur, but did not ask, so it’s my fault.” She added, “I know it’s not a great excuse, but I hope you and your members understand.”
