“New Moon” to Rise to Big Screen
22-Nov-2008

The second book of the vampire series is officially a go.
When your new movie is such a hit that the Hollywood Insider reports that it made $35.7 million in one day, you don’t say, “I’ll pass” to doing it again.
EW.com reports that young studio Summit Entertainment has announced officially what many have already guessed: New Moon will indeed be rising to a big screen near you.
And apparently I’m not the only one looking forward to the sequel of Stephenie Meyer’s beloved vampire saga where the relationship between Bella Swan and vampire Edward meets the Jacob challenge.
Fans commented on the EW article expressing their excitement, saying things such as, “I loved New Moon,” and that they would be going to see the film whether Robert Pattinson played a hugs role in the film or not.
The fans also sounded in unison about two things. . . .
#1-Bring on Jacob!
“Jacob is so hot and so important to the story. People will not care if Edward isn’t in it was much,” wrote one fan. Another agreed saying, “I always wished that Bella would've gone for Jacob.”
#2- I won’t mention spoilers, but more than one fan voiced disappointment in first film and asked that filmmakers do one very important thing in the second film.
“Stay to they book as much as u possible can and the movie till be really good” advised one comment with another fan yelling at the filmmakers to “FOLLOW THE BOOK AS BEST AS POSSIBLE!”
Too bad fans will have to wait patiently for their chance to see if the next movie will live up or down to their expectations, as a release date wasn’t mentioned.
In the meantime, they can always go for seconds of Twilight; that’s just beginning its run in theaters.
