Hills Stars Heidi and Spencer Elope

The Hills couple that everyone loves to hate, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, tied the knot last Thursday at a resort in Mexico, according to People magazine.

The couple wed outside Cabo San Lucas at the One and Only Palmilla Resort, according to PerezHilton.com.

"The minute we said our vows, I couldn't stop crying," Montag said. Both Montag and Pratt wrote personal vows.

Montag said she dropped hints to her mother, who initially thought the couple was splitting up.

"I called her right before the ceremony, sort of hinted that something [was happening], but her reaction was to ask me if we were breaking up!" Montag said. "I told her it might be something else, and she said, 'Well, if you ever plan on getting married, just know that your stepdad is really upset that you want your father to walk you down the aisle."

Montag did not tell her father, who told People magazine that the couple would have to have another ceremony with friends and family.

"I would be upset if she got married and didn't invite me!" Montag's father said when the reports first surfaced. He added, "We just have to have another wedding here!"
