Pete Wentz Says Mowgli Is a Cool Name

The Jungle Book brought Pete and Ashlee closer.
Pete Wentz spoke to Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show, Tuesday, about how his wife, Ashlee Simpson, was eerily calm during her delivery to Bronx Mowgli Wentz and why the two gave their son the middle name Mowgli.
Wentz, who is proud of his wife, expressed how she handled the delivery of their son. “She took care of me and made sure I was okay and then went into labor. That’s why she’s a saint.”
“The Jungle Book was something me and Ashlee bonded over. It’s a cool name,” Wentz said about his newborn son.
He gave an honest reason for the middle name of a Disney cartoon favorite, but what about Bronx? Did the two just love the New York borough that much?
Wentz didn’t reveal much about how the first name came about. “We came up with the idea Bronx. We’ve been throwing [ideas] back and forth for a while,” said Wentz.
Seacrest asked if the name was a joke, but Wentz confirmed that Bronx Mowgli Wentz is no joke!
