Britney Feels "Like an Old Fart"

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the reformed pop singer said the road to her comeback has left her feeling old and boring.

Though her father's conservatorship has led to a reformed Britney Spears' comeback and new album, the singer opened up in an interview with Rolling Stone and said the control makes her feel old, according to the Associated Press.

"I feel like an old person now," Spears said in the interview. "I do! I go to bed at, like, 9:30 every night and I don't go out or anything, you know what I mean? I just feel like an old fart."

After two hospitalizations for psychiatric evaluation, Spears' father, Jamie, gained conservatorship over his daughter's affairs in February. Since then, Spears has maintained a low profile and is set to release her comeback album, "Circus," on Dec. 2, the singer's 27th birthday.

The first single off the album, "Womanizer," climbed to the number one spot on the Billboard charts in October. Spears plans on touring next year to promote her upcoming album.

Spears also said she spends three days a week with her two sons, Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2.

"To be a really good mom, I feel your child needs to be your full-time job," Spears told Rolling Stone. "I want to raise my kids and share all of those precious moments with them."

Spears' interview will hit newsstands on Friday's edition of Rolling Stone. Spears also adorns the cover of the magazine.
