Nicole Rumored to Marry Joel Madden in January

The couple rumored to set the date for January 11.
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are rumored to be getting married on January 11, 2009, the first anniversary of the date their daughter Harlow was born, reported Stuff.com. A friend of the couple said: “They want to set an example for Harlow. Nicole and Joel are doing this to seal their love legally. They want a ceremony to coincide with Harlow’s first birthday and be one big joyous occasion for everybody.”
Harlow’s birthday is certainly an important one to Joel and Nicole, as it seems Harlow is what really pulled this family together. Nicole stated in People Magazine, when she first discovered she was pregnant, “There was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I’ve had.” Joel recently said in People that his life “is centered around her. The only thing you really have is work and family.”
The couple reportedly plan on selling the pictures of the ceremonies to a magazine, but want to donate all the money to charity. “They’ve spoken about giving any money they get for photos of their wedding to Beyond Shelter, a homeless charity in Los Angeles that they work with. They also plan to give any presents away as well.”
