Winona Ryder Loses It
They say that any publicity is good publicity, but . . . really?
Actress Winona Ryder is at the center of a new and shiny investigation. According to reports, the actress was loaned more than half a quarter-million dollars worth of Bulgari jewelry to wear to a recent gala in Spain. The Marie Claire officials had loaned Ryder diamond jewelry, including a pretty bracelet with diamonds. Supposedly, after she was done with the pretty playthings, Ryder dropped off the jewelry (diamonds of course) at the front desk of her European hotel. However, the $125,000 worth of jewelry is nowhere to be found.
Though Ryder has been in the news before for alleged shoplifting, no one has accused her of removing the jewels, as reportedly the clothing she borrowed was not removed. At this point, there is no reason to believe that Ryder, 37, is not telling the truth.
According to TMZ, the entire story about Ryder giving the jewels to the desk staff is bogus, and the bracelet and ring were allegedly stolen from the actress's room, soon after she left early in the morning.
