Gordon Ramsay Denies Affair
Gordon Ramsay, star of reality show Hell's Kitchen, has denied that he had an affair, reported MSNBC. The rumors surfaced last week when Sarah Symonds, self-proclaimed "mistress expert" and author of the book, Having an Affair? A Handbook for the Other Woman, said she had a seven-year affair with the chef, who is married to Tana Ramsay.
On BBC's Good Food Show on Thursday, Ramsay stated that he has not had an affair, addressing his denial to his mother, who was in the audience. "My mum is here tonight so I'm on my best behavior," Ramsay said, according to the Sun. "Oh f*** it! I didn't do it, mum. I love you." He also joked, "I have had a mattress arriving this week. Everyone thought it was because I had to sleep in the basement. Mattress, mistress, mattress, what a load of bull."
The allegations arose at the same time Ramsay's U.S. version of Kitchen Nightmares was scheduled to begin filming, however Channel 4 has stated that the cancellation has nothing to do with the rumors.
