Black Friday Provides Silver Lining
This Black Friday may not have been so bleak, after all.
With all the lowered expectations and forecasts of gloomy returns, it now looks like Black Friday wasn't so dreary after all. Early reports show that more than $10 billion in goods were sold on Friday. According to the AP, this figure is even higher than last year's Black Friday revenues, which were slightly lower.
Black Friday is known as a big day for all shoppers, as prices and deals tend to be very inviting for consumers. Perhaps a good deal was just the medicine for the current economy . . . that and the holiday spirit, perhaps?
