LeBron James Versus Charles Barkley Feud
NBA All Star guard and forward LeBron James responded in a rather bizarre way to Hall of Fame basketball player Charles Barkley's comments recently. According to the Associated Press, they are reporting, "LeBron James reacted strongly to Charles Barkley's comments that the Cavaliers star isn't showing respect for Cleveland fans and his teammates by discussing his possible free agency following the 2010 season." Barkley firmly believes that James is being "disrespectful" to both James's current team in the Cleveland Cavaliers and the game of basketball. Prior to the Golden State Warriors, James retaliated by calling Barkley "stupid."
As of right now, James is under contract for the Cavaliers for two more years. However, he received a standing ovation at a New York Knicks game while the game was being played at the notorious Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have cleared up salary cap space for free agents in 2010, and one of the marquee free agents could be LeBron James. There still has not been any word yet on whether or not James and Barkley have mended fences.
