Elvis's "Spectacle"

Elvis Costello will be taking on hosting duties. The crooner will be hosting a music-themed show, which has variously been called Spectacle and Spectacle: Elvis Costello with . . ., where he will be taking an in-depth look at the life of a musician. According to reports, Costello was looking to make a show by which scandals would not be the driving force, but instead a show that could highlight achievements and down-to-earth looks at musicians, famous and up-and-coming.

The show will debut on Sundance on Wednesday, December 3. It is unclear at this point exactly what the format of the show will be, and whether it will be more like a talk show or a behind-the-scenes show.
