Doreen Giuliano’s Sting Could Be a Problem
30-Nov-2008
Written by: Sayed Islam

Mother goes undercover to free her son from prison.

Mother of John Giuca, Doreen Giuliano, is attempting to help her son in any way that she can. According to the New York Times, contributors in Manny Fernandez and Kareem Fahim are reporting, “Doreen Giuliano concocted an elaborate undercover sting operation to free her son from prison, changing her appearance and her identity to pursue a flirtatious relationship with a man who was a juror in her son’s trial. But legal experts said on Saturday that she would have a difficult time persuading a judge to overturn her son’s conviction.” John Giuca was convicted of murdering Mark Fisher in New York City during October of 2003.

Giuliano covertly taped discussions with Jason Allo stemming from back in October of 2007. In addition, she recorded Allo mentioning that he knew people from John Giuca’s gang who beat Giuca. Nevertheless, Allo never divulged this information to anyone during jury selection. Giuliano is also accusing Allo of misguiding the other jurors on the jury.
