Barker and DJ AM to Reunite for New Year’s Performance
1-Dec-2008
Written by: Marissa Willman

Musician Travis Barker and DJ Adam “AM” Goldstein will reunite after surviving a fatal plane crash to headline a New Year’s Eve performance in Los Angeles.

Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ Adam “AM” Goldstein, who were the sole survivors of a plane crash that left four dead in September, will reunite for a New Year’s Eve performance in Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press.

"I'm ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house," Barker said through a statement. "I'm very excited to bring in the New Year in my hometown of L.A."

The duo will headline the New Year's Nation's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party at the Lot in West Hollywood. The performance will be streamed online and be broadcasted at other New Year’s Nation parties across the country.

The upcoming performance will be the first for Barker and Goldstein since surviving a Learjet crash in South Carolina. The musicians, who go by the stage name “TRVSDJAM,” have not performed since the free concert for 10,000 people that brought them to South Carolina.

Barker and Goldstein were treated for severe burns after surviving the incident. Barker filed a lawsuit against the owners and manufacturers of the Learjet earlier this month.
