VH1 Picks Up Barrymore-Produced Reality Show
VH1 will carry Tough Love, a reality series produced by Nancy Juvonen and Drew Barrymore's company, Flower Films, for at least eight episodes, Variety reports.
The show will help a group of women find future love by eliminating their destructive dating habits through a "Tough Love Boot Camp." The participants will live together in a house and receive counsel from matchmaker Steve Ward, the host.
"We're all trying to figure out how to make love function while continuing to better ourselves," Barrymore said. "This show is a fun way to do that."
This is Flower Films' first TV show, though it does claim credits on the TV movies, Olive, the Other Reindeer and Choose or Lose Presents: The Best Place to Start, a documentary by Barrymore that examines youth participation in elections. The company has also previously worked on Donnie Darko, 50 First Dates and Charlie's Angels.
