Ripa Divorce Rumors False

Rumors of morning talk show host Kelly Ripa’s marriage to Mark Consuelos dissolving have been greatly exaggerated, according to Ripa’s rep.
Though the National Enquirer ran a front page story this week claiming that the marriage between talk show host Kelly Ripa and actor Mark Consuelos is on the rocks, Ripa’s rep said the story is completely false, according to People magazine.
"There is no truth to the story. Their marriage continues to be quite healthy, and the National Enquirer should be ashamed for fabricating such an untruthful story," Ripa’s spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, said.
Rosenfield added, "Their story is 100 percent false."
Attorney Michael Zweig, who represents the couple, has demanded a “full public retraction” and an apology from the publication.
Ripa and Consuelos have been married for 12 years. The couple met in 1995 while acting on the soap opera, All My Children, and were married in 1996. Ripa and Consuelos have three children together: Michael, 11, Lola, 7, and Joaquin, 5.
On Monday, the couple was spotted together at the New York premiere of Beyoncé’s new movie, Cadillac Records.
Ripa co-hosts Live! with Regis and Kelly with Regis Philbin. Ripa has been with the show since 2001.
