Audrina Denies Name Calling in Cheating Rumors

After rumors surfaced that “The Hills” star Lauren Conrad was sleeping with costar Audrina Patridge’s ex-boyfriend, Patridge took to her blog to deny any mudslinging.
After rumors of backstabbing and cheating swarmed Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge of MTV’s The Hills over Patridge’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bobby, Patridge took to her blog to lay the rumors and aftermath to rest.
“I just want to put it on record that never did I EVER call Lauren a ‘slut,’ ‘bad friend,’ ‘shady person,’ etc,” Patridge wrote in her blog. “I simply asked her a question and that’s how she interpreted it. I didn’t go around town running my mouth either.”
Last month, tabloids reported that Conrad and Bobby were sleeping with each other while Bobby was dating Patridge. Patridge defended her decision to talk to Conrad’s best-friend-turned-worst-enemy, Heidi Montag, about the rumors.
“I confided in Heidi because she knows how Lauren works and when Lauren hung up on me and was acting like a child, I obviously thought the worst,” she said. “Bottom line, Justin and Lauren treating me like I wasn’t worthy of an explanation was almost worse than the rumor itself, and it only got worse the harder I tried to get a genuine answer.”
Patridge also dug at Bobby about his immature behavior and the status of their relationship.
“His inexcusable behavior has become somewhat expected at this point,” Patridge writes. “And I just want to say that if I were looking for a serious relationship, I would definitely be looking elsewhere!”
On Monday, Patridge and Conrad met in person while filming for The Hills. Patridge told Conrad, “I feel like an idiot that I didn’t trust you. . . . I’m sorry on my end for what I’ve caused you and what you went through.”
