DMX in the Dog House, Again

According to E! Online, rapper/actor DMX, whose legal name is Earl Simmons, has had a warrant issued for his arrest. The warrant was issued at a hearing this morning in Phoenix. DMX did not appear at today's hearing on 13 felonies including drug possession and identity theft among other offenses.

This is the third arrest warrant that has been issued for DMX in 2008. DMX also had an extensive criminal history including arrests for violent behavior, animal cruelty, reckless driving, and unlicensed driving. He has served jail time for some of these offenses.

According to DMX's attorney, the rapper/actor is currently being treated at a rehabilitation facility. This disclosure did not deter Judge Michael Kemp from raising DMX's bond to $120,000 and requiring that that sum be paid in full in cash.

Hopefully, DMX can pay the bond and continue to turn his life around. Being in a rehabilitation facility is a good start.
