Jen and Owen Like Their Privacy, But Give Weird Interview

In a seemingly routine interview with USA Today, Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson had quizzical responses to seemingly innocent questions.

OK, they like their privacy and they like being celebrities, but they can't stand being publicly analyzed. We get it . . . and completely understand.

Apparently, they didn't think all of the questions were the very best. In a recent interview with USA Today, the stars of the upcoming dog-centric movie, Marley & Me, gave a somewhat irregular and telling interview to a reporter.

According to the USA Today transcript, Aniston's words appear more terse when she answers certain questions about the strain of celebrity on her private life, and even about dogs. When asked if her own dogs (which she oozes about earlier in the interview) "help to get you through the difficult times?" her costar, Owen Wilson, walks off, with no explanation given. Aniston responds, "You're talking about the stupid stuff? Yes." Later, Owen gives a stiff reply, agreeing with Aniston, saying, "Yeah, that sounded nice."

Earlier in the interview, when asked how they feel about their private lives being on public exhibition, Aniston is more vocal (as she generally dominates the interview, as Wilson says less and leaves more often), stating that her life is "none of your [the general public's] business," and that "it's enough," and that the publicity is like "we're appealing to the lowest . . ." Wilson finishes her thought, adding "the worst in human nature."

The two can be seen in Marley & Me. This marks the first time Aniston and Wilson will be appearing in a film together. Aniston's recent relationships with Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer have been popular fodder for gossip, while Wilson was in the news only last year for reportedly attempting suicide, not long after the reported end of his long-term relationship with Kate Hudson.
