Tom Cruise and Matt Lauer Move On

It was four years ago when Tom Cruise went on the Today show to talk about his devotion to Scientology. Host Matt Lauer was caught in the midst of Cruise's diatribe.

In a recent appearance on the Today show, Cruise and Lauer seemed to have finally buried the hatchet. According to People, "The two did finally clear the air - and discussed at length - their June 2004 confrontation, in which Cruise angrily accused Lauer of being glib during a discussion of Brooke Shields's use of anti depressants to treat her post-partum depression."

During the interview, the movie star also emphasized that he will probably not discuss Scientology in any interviews in the foreseeable future.

Although Cruise is still an advocate of Scientology, he believes that it is not appropriate to talk about that topic during interviews.
