Quaids Settle with Cedars-Sinai

The actor and his young wife settled with the prominent hospital on Monday.

Actor Dennis Quaid and his young wife, Kimberly Quaid, have reportedly accepted three quarters of a million dollars to stop hounding Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The couple's now 1-year-old twins were given an accidental overdose of Heparin in 2007, leading to serious complications. According to new reports, the Quaids agreed on Monday, in legal filings, to accept $750,000 from the Los Angeles-based hospital, in return for no longer seeking further damages from Cedars-Sinai, on their behalf. However, there is nothing in this settlement that states that the Quaids can't still go after Cedars-Sinai for more money, in the name of their children, who were the injured parties.

Quaid, 54, was formerly married to actress Meg Ryan, with whom he has an older son. The two married in the 1980s.
