Diddy Throws Birthday Party for Ex

Rapper’s bash has stars and a serenade.
Even though Sean “Diddy” Combs and his ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, aren’t together anymore, it doesn’t mean he can’t throw the mother of three of his children an amazing birthday party.
E! reports that Combs held a private party in West Hollywood last night at Murano restaurant and he didn’t skimp on anything.
Guests at the bash included Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery, Pompeo’s Grey’s Anatomy costar Sara Ramirez, and socialite Lisa Gastineau. Everyone sang Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday” to Porter.
Porter even had a specialty drink named after her at the party. The K.P. Martini featured a Ciroc vodka lemon drop and a brown sugar rim. A four-course meal was served and a three-berry cake from Sweet Lady Jane bakery was made.
The party started at 8 p.m. and ended around midnight.
While Combs and Porter broke up in July 2007, they remain committed parents as well as friends.
A source told E!, “They remain good friends. They see each other often.”
