Mindy McCready in Hospital After Suicide Attempt
According to the New York Daily News, country singer Mindy McCready has been hospitalized after attempting to commit suicide.
"We responded to a '10-63,' that's a suicidal person call. Mindy McCready was at the house," said Kris Mumford, spokeswoman for the Nashville Police Department.
Police and paramedics were dispatched to the home in which McCready was staying at. She was immediately transported to a Nashville hospital where she was treated for wounds to both wrists.
"Apparently she called the mother of her roommate and said some things that caused the mother concern," said Mumford.
McCready spent 30 days in jail recently for violating probation on a 2004 drug charge and entered rehabilitation in July, three months after confirming her affair with the New York Yankees' Roger Clemens.
