Country Singer Tries to Commit Suicide
Country crooner Mindy McCready was taken to a Nashville hospital after she tried to kill herself.
In what appears to be a botched suicide attempt, a country singer is now stabilizing at a Nashville-area hospital. Mindy McCready reportedly was admitted to a hospital on Wednesday, December 17, after she was found by her younger brother, with her wrists slit. She was taken to Centennial Medical Center.
McCready has had previous run-ins with the law. She was reportedly drunk the night of the attempted suicide.
Nashville, Tennessee is known as a cutting edge center for medicine and surgery. As one of the most prominent centers of country music, it is also known as a good location for singers to go to when seeking medical treatment for throats and voice-boxes.
