Marisa Tomei, Meet Stripper Pole

Oscar winner Marisa Tomei will soon be back on the big screen, costarring with Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler. And yes, gentlemen, she will be a stripper. And Tomei's turn has already been gathering praise, as the 1993 Oscar winner was nominated for an Emmy for her role in Wrestler.

Tomei, 44, can be seen in the already much-talked-about film, which opened in a select number of theaters, and next week will expand its run. In recent interviews with Premiere and other magazines, Tomei has been talking about the research and experience relating to the role. Tomei told Premiere about her preparation to play a stripper: "We just went out, had some drinks, went to a bunch of clubs, watched a lot of dances, got some dances, brought some guy friends with me, brought some girl friends with me. . . ."

She has also spoken about wearing certain articles of clothing, and not wearing others, for the film.
