Shia LaBeouf's Second Surgery

After his summer car accident, Shia LaBeouf had a time of it, alternately having to drop out of films or incorporate his damaged hand into his films. According to E!, LaBeouf just underwent another surgical procedure on his left hand, reportedly to fix some of the damage to his thumb.

When LaBeouf and his female costar were involved in the West Hollywood car accident/rollover, it was initially thought that drinking may have been involved. However, the L.A. County District Attorney's Office did not pursue that case, and charges were never filed.

LaBeouf may be best known as the former star of the Disney comedy, Even Stevens, and for later supporting roles in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Transformers. The sequel to Transformers is being filmed now. LaBeouf's female costar was reportedly in the car with LaBeouf when his hand was badly disfigured.
