DWTS Mark Ballas Injured
For those of you who have tickets for the next few stops on the "Dancing with the Stars" tour, you won't get the see Mark Ballas hoof it on the stage.
That's because Ballas has come down with a groin injury, reports People. He announced to the audience at Saturday night's show in Los Angeles that he will have to heal for "a couple of weeks."
On season six of the celebrity dance competition, Ballas won the disco-ball trophy with his partner, Olympic ice skater Kristi Yamaguchi. He was clearly in pain as he talked of his injury to the crowd at the Staples Center. Ballas apologized for not being able to give a great performance.
Ballas was able to perform a light routine with Yamaguchi, as well as a hip-hop style dance set with fellow tour mates Lacey Schwimmer and Derek Hough. Speaking of Hough, he and Ballas have just completed a CD for Hollywood Records as the Ballas Hough Band.
Dancing with the Stars will be back for season eight on ABC on March 9.
