“American Idol” Finalist Gets Married on New Year’s Eve

“American Idol” finalist, Gina Glocksen, rings in the New Year by getting married.
According to People Magazine, Glocksen exchanged vows with longtime boyfriend, 32-year-old school teacher, Joe Ruzicka, after he had proposed to her last year during the “American Idols Live” tour. They had a non-denominational ceremony at the Century Memorial Chapel at Naper Settlement in Naperville, Ill.
The 24-year-old singer was a top ten finalist on the sixth season of American Idol. The wedding party included fellow Idol contestant Haley Scarnato and Idol winner Jordin Sparks, who were bridesmaids and the vocal entertainment, along with Ruzicka’s band, Then Again, for some 300 guests.
Glocksen was also a co-host for the FOX Reality show, American Idol Extra, in 2008. Currently, she is recording an album in Nashville, which she hopes to release in mid-2009.
