Katy Perry and Travis McCoy Break Up

The couple broke up over the holidays.
Katy Perry and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy have broken up, reports People. The couple took a trip to Mexico together over Christmas, but parted ways before the new year.
The couple had been dating exclusively since last summer’s Vans Warped tour, after over a year of casual dating. In June, McCoy told People magazine that he had bought Perry a promise ring, while he wore a silver band with the name “Katy” on it.
On December 31, McCoy posted the lyrics to the group, Main Source’s, breakup song, called “Looking at the Front Door,” on his blog. After that, he posted the short message: “My Laptop is my new b****. LOYAL. LISTENS. and NEVER LET’S ME DOWN.”
Meanwhile, Perry performed in New York on New Year’s Eve.
“She hung out with her friends all night,” described a witness. “She was in a great mood. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary.”
