Kelly Rutherford Is Pregnant and Divorcing

Life must be pretty busy for actress Kelly Rutherford, who can be seen on Gossip Girl. In December, Us Magazine reported that Rutherford was expecting her second child. The father of first-trimester baby is Daniel Giersch.

According to TMZ, Rutherford filed for divorce from Giersch last week in Los Angeles, citing the usual celebrity explanation.

Giersch is a businessman of German extraction, in charge of Giersch Ventures. GV discusses Giersch's vision:

"His vision is to create an avenue for communication in the future that is simpler and more efficient and in turn a great benefit to the environment we live in. . . . Daniel Giersch believes strongly that all we have is our word. That's what gives us integrity and doing what we say we are going to do and following through is what builds trust."

We're hoping the reason for the divorce wasn't lack of communication . . . because, according to Giersch Ventures, Daniel was really good at that.
