Benji Madden Keeping Eye on Niece’s Future Suitors

Joel Madden and Nicole Richie won’t have to be the ones to worry about their daughter Harlow’s potential boyfriends. Her uncle Benji Madden will take care of it.
People reports that Madden is putting the warning out, saying, “I’m going to be keeping a close eye on her. I’ll leave the shotgun right by the door.”
The 29-year-old member of Good Charlotte said that it’s good that Joel and he are twins because Joel “can be the good guy and I’ll be the bad guy.”
Madden also talked about how he admires the way Harlow is being raised by his brother and Richie.
“When they had her, their instincts just kind of came out, and it’s amazing to see,” he said, “They just really put their child above everything.”
Madden, who deejayed on New Year’s Eve at Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, also talked about his brother’s parenting style.
“Joel is such a great dad and Nicole is the best mom I’ve ever seen. Joel is all about showing up. His main concern in life is protecting and caring for his family,” he said.
Joel can protect his family anyway he wants, but he can leave the shotgun antics to Benji.
