Top Chef’s Nikki Cascone Is Engaged

Top Chef’s Nikki Cascone is engaged to Brad Grossman – and already is making wedding plans.
According to People magazine, one of A&E’s Top Chef’s most energetic contestants became engaged to her longtime boyfriend and partner, Brad Grossman, over the holidays.
"I'm beyond happy. My only issue is that I can't cook with my engagement ring on!" said Cascone.
Grossman proposed to Cascone coincidently while she was preparing his dinner.
"I tied the ring around one of the dogs' necks and tried to get him to run over to Nikki . . . but that wasn't happening . . . so in the end I told Nikki to go see the dog," said Grossman.
The couple co-owns 24 Prince, a popular restaurant.
Top Chef viewers recall Cascone for cooking up rustic Italian inspired recipes while fostering big-sister like relationships.
Cascone plans on having an entirely green and sustainable wedding in Spring 2010 with over 200 guests.
"Nikki started planning two seconds after I proposed," said Grossman.
