Producers Guild of America Tips Hat at Nominees
The Producers Guild of America honors the past year's top actors and actresses at the annual Producers Guild of America awards, which honors the best of film and television. Today's nominees included some of the most talked about movies from 2008, including WALL-E, The Dark Knight, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Kung Fu Panda and newbies Milk and Slumdog Millionaire.
Widely successful films Button and The Dark Knight were also three of the five nominated films for best film of the year, which also included the smaller Milk, Frost/Nixon and Slumdog Millionaire, which has been steadily but surely gaining momentum in the U.S.
Some of the top honors for animated films will go to critical and box office favorite WALL-E, Kung Fu Panda or the newer Bolt, with the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus.
