Star of “Ghost Whisperer” Calls Off Engagement

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiancé, Ross McCall, have decided to call it quits.
People Magazine broke the news of the couple’s relationship ending during the holidays. A source close to the couple told People, “They’re both really sad about this. Even friends are surprised, they seem really happy. Everyone just wants the best for both of them.”
Hewitt, 29, had dated the 32-year-old Scottish actor, McCall, for two years before becoming engaged in November 2007. Though no wedding date had been set, Hewitt was looking forward to getting married. In late October she told People, “I’m getting ready to turn 30 and get married and all those things. This year was my year to try to glow from within and feel better.”
Currently, McCall is starring on the Starz drama, Crash, while Hewitt is on the fourth season of the hit TV show, Ghost Whisperer, on CBS.
