“Scrubs” Is Back . . . YES!
5-Jan-2009

I can’t wait for “Scrubs” to hit the airwaves once more.
The whimsical and much-beloved comedy, Scrubs is back . . . almost! The popular comedy, which appeared to be almost unceremoniously dumped by NBC, was soon after picked up by ABC. New episodes of what is being advertised as the show's last season, are set to begin airing on Tuesday evenings, starting this week . . . woohoo!
In recent interviews, Scrubs producer Bill Lawrence has talked about his vision for the season, and the possibility that the show may indeed go on, sans himself and possibly lead actor Zach Braff. In interviews, Lawrence has spoken about the importance of ending the show in the way most pleasing to longtime viewers, touching on the topic of what Braff's character will end up doing, whether he will leave Sacred Heart, and the age-old question: Will he get back together with longtime on-and-off amour, Eliot Reid? (Yes, the blonde, and her name is Eliot . . . go figure.)
Courteney Cox is one star set to make at least one cameo appearance on Scrubs this season, joining a notable list, which included Heather Locklear.
If Scrubs does indeed end its long and colorful run this year, then let it go out with a bang . . . and if it doesn't end, then all the better!
