Another Comic Book as a Movie - Jonah Hex

Jonah Hex is in production for the big screen.
The bloody comic book story of a disfigured bounty hunter is coming to the big screen as a live action, and predictably, absurdly violent film. Warner Brothers has secured the rights for Jonah Hex, a DC comics character that is making his motion picture debut, and production is rumored to start in April. The film will star Josh Brolin (Milk, American Gangster), and is directed by Jimmy Hayward, who until now has only done animated films (Horton Hears a Who).
The story of Hex is a disturbing one, and the film could be very dark, depending on its interpretation. The current script treatment includes supernatural elements. Not much more has been released yet, and we'll keep you posted as details emerge.
