Charges Have Been Dropped Against Actor Josh Brolin
6-Jan-2009
Written by: Bridget Campos
The charges are related to an incident at a Louisiana bar last year.
According to the Associated Press, Brolin, along with his costar, Jeffrey Wright, and five crew members of the Oliver Stone film, W., were out celebrating the wrap of the film at the Stray Cat Club.
In the early hours of July 12, 2008, the cops were called to break up a brawl. As one of the officers was arresting a drunk crew member, Wright and Brolin tried to talk their way out of the arrest, but ended up getting pepper sprayed and arrested themselves for interfering with the officer.
The prosecutors in Shreveport, La., have agreed to drop all charges against the group within 60 days, as long as they accept “district attorney’s probation” and stay out of further trouble until their next court date on March 11. Brolin wasn’t required to attend a court hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
