The actor will have the charges dropped in the next 60 days.

In Shreveport, La., last year, there was an incident involving Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright. During the wrap-up party for the shooting of the film, W., in July 2007, police were dispatched in response to an incident involving a crew member, and Brolin and Wright were charged with interfering with the officers. Brolin was trying to keep the crew member form being arrested, and from there things escalated.

Not only were charges filed against the two, but both were pepper sprayed and Wright was tasered. In total, five crew members were charged with interfering with the police, and everyone's charges are being dropped. Brolin and Wright are being fined $130 for court costs, and all seven people charged with the misdemeanor will have the charges dropped within 60 days.

On a more asinine note, the city of Shreveport is offering a public screening of the arrest video, unedited. The six to seven hours of footage was released to the press and Shreveport city council members are hoping that the video will dispel any rumors of police brutality.
