Hathaway, Hudson Deny Any “Wars”

Anne Hathaway dismisses rumors that she and “Bride Wars” costar Kate Hudson clashed on set.
Blondes and brunettes don't always mix, but don't tell that to Anne Hathaway.
According to the New York Daily News, the brown-haired actress, 26, still has a friendly relationship with the golden-tressed Kate Hudson, 29, her costar in the soon to be released Bride Wars.
Rumors have run rampant since filming for the movie began, with many sources claiming that Hathaway and Hudson could barely tolerate each other's presence, perhaps mirroring their roles in the movie as antogonistic rivals whose wedding ceremonies are accidentally booked at the same time and place.
Hathaway, however, dismisses all such reports as false.
"We're friends," she told NY Daily News, "We still text each other all the time and see each other a lot."
Both women were apparently expecting the gossipers to get it wrong. Says Hathaway, "We said to each other when we first started, 'I wonder when the rumors are going to start that we're not getting along?' because it always happens. And guess what - it took a week!"
