Wynonna Judd Is New Face of Alli

Country star admits pill works for her.
All Americans like to start a new year on a healthy foot, and Wynonna Judd is one of them.
People reports that the country singer will be the new spokeswoman for Alli, the weight loss pill that was released in 2007.
Judd, 44, said, “This is about me picking something that I know works for me. I can still plan [my work] and not feel like Alli is dictating my life as I have in the past on other programs.”
Judd started taking Alli last September and admits that she doesn’t have “diet goals” but rather goals that consist of living “as happy and healthy as I can.”
Part of what makes her happy are her kids and her work. Her son, Elijah, is 14 and daughter, Grace, is 12. Judd is also releasing a new album on Feb. 3 and will then hit the road for a tour to support the disc.
What Judd really wants out of representing Alli is to motivate her fans. She said, “People can see themselves and say ‘You know what? If she can do it, I can do it.’”
Judd wants to be an inspiration for those who have struggled with weight loss and know that she has been there too.
“I hope people will be inspired by the fact that I’ve overcome a lot, I’m still here and it’s a miracle,” she said.
