Travolta Not Coming to Globes
The mourning father will not be arriving at the awards show.
Stricken father John Travolta officially has canceled his appearance at the 66th annual Golden Globes, to take place on Sunday, January 11. The actor, who recently suffered the loss of eldest son Jett, was previously set to be a presenter at the awards, after starring in the animated hit, Bolt.
According to E!, Travolta's representative, Samantha Mast, confirmed that Travolta and his wife, actress Kelly Preston, will not be at the glitzy awards ceremony in Hollywood.
Jett, 16, died while the Travolta family was on vacation in the Bahamas over New Year's. It has been suggested that he suffered from autism and seizure disorders, and a fatal blow to the head caused his untimely demise.
